The grand facades of Universal Studios welcomes it guests to taste the grandeur of Los Angeles, offering a film studio with a theme park to enjoy a perfect weekend. Universal studio also has two hotels in the names of Hilton and Sheraton, a multi-screen globe theatre and world famous Universal CityWalk. Most of the Hollywood movie stars have their residences at Beverly Hills, the ultra modern township that is entirely located in Los Angeles County offering a breathtaking view of the City of Los Angeles.
Being the second largest city in the US next only to the Big Apple, Los Angeles has the third largest City economy in the world at $831 billion (in 2008) is an important center for Business, Finance and Education. Los Angeles sits ideally adjacent to the pacific coast, is subject for earthquakes due to its location on Pacific Ring of Fire. It has two vital ports for trade namely, Los Angeles and Long Beach, together forms the fifth busiest amongst the ports in the world and the most vital trade post on American West Coast. It is always be a perfect holiday to spend time along the coast spread from Malibu to the South Bay. One can enjoy the sandy beaches and rustic waters of the Pacific Ocean.
People of Los Angeles are warm and welcoming, English is the primary language of communication for most of the citizens and there are considerable Spanish speakers due to proximity to Mexico. Most of the people have celebrity culture in them and enjoy their time with warm hospitality.
Los Angeles posses immense talent in arts and music that has made me fall in love with the city and it has a prominent place in the field of education with world famous universities namely, California State University (Los Angeles & Northridge), University of California (ULCA) and numerous film & art institutes.
