Exciting Games to Watch For on Mobile in 2016

Mobile gaming has gotten big enough that now we can speculate about the upcoming game for the next year. With new technology and, even more, powerful devices in 2016, we will most likely get some of the best mobile games in terms of quality. Even if the year isn’t quite over yet, there are some titles we can look forward to and rumors that are giving us a taste of what could come to us in 2016. Sometimes all we need is one game that can be in our pockets to pull out anywhere, but chances are we will get more than one good title during the upcoming year. Wearable technology could also be on the way when it comes to making good mobile games happen, but Android should be where it’s at for now.

Pokemon Go

Pokémon was usually the kind of game you had to buy a new handheld console or wait for it to appear on consoles to enjoy, but 2016 will mark the change in trend when Pokémon Go comes to mobile, and pretty much anyone with a smartphone will be able to play it. The goal of this game won’t necessarily be to port the previous experience that was on consoles, but rather to amaze with a brand new experience that works with the real world. So, even long-time fans of Pokemon will have something to enjoy on their cell phones in 2016. This is the kind of franchise that can bring mobile gaming to the next level. This could be an exciting year as it gets released we can feel hope for and look forward to trying like this one.

Miitomo from Nintendo

Bringing Nintendo to the world of mobile gaming seems to be the biggest thing awaiting us in 2016. Miitomo will be another title and won’t even require a dollar from users. The game falls right in the concepts Nintendo introduced with the Wii several years ago where each user can have his or her Mii character be unique and interact with the rest of the community. The concept might’ve had some limits when it came to the living room, but the mobile world might finally allow Nintendo to give us a full experience around their ideas. The first entry by Nintendo on mobile might not be expected to be a revolution, but it should deliver something fresh if you’ve been scrolling the app store and always landing on something similar. If you’ve been waiting to play something original in 2016, so far things are looking great.

Football Manager Mobile 2016

Football Manager is starting to be a very popular thing on both console and mobile, and Football Manager Mobile 2016 is a game that puts some great features in your hand and makes some efforts as a whole to become relevant on the little device. Using a clean interface, the game asks you to bring your team to the top by looking at the field and making the right moves when it comes to your team members. If you like football in a more tactical way, playing on your mobile device might be the best way for you to live the dream of being a true football manager.

Magic game in 2016

Hopefully building on Magic Duels: Origins, a new Magic game in 2016 could bring the free-to-play concept to new heights. Playing Magic the Gathering on mobile has gradually become one of the most exciting things on the go over the past few years. Certainly a game to watch when more information is available.

Titanfall mobile game

Titanfall was one of the most interesting console games of the new generation, and now the excitement is about to be transferred into the mobile world with a new title in 2016. This represents another concept that could be put to good use to build the mobile game world of tomorrow. Mobile games don’t always have to be the original title, but can instead be the revisitation of worlds we’ve enjoyed during the past years on other platforms. When we like a title, we often wish that the fun wouldn’t end, and demanding a sequel in a matter of a year or two might be asking for too much, but the mobile world can compensate for that. And besides, there’s no telling that the creators can’t be original and put together something that can’t be replayable. This mobile version will put forward some PvP mechanics and have some elements that will help the player recall the main game.
