Deposit and Withdraw Energy: Power Bank Charges

A power bank is a gadget or device which can store electricity or energy in its battery and allow you to charge your mobile phone at any time you want. In easy words, you can call it a portable charger or travel charger. The biggest problem of mobile phones is charging. When you are on a long route travel and your mobile phone’s battery is getting low. Then power bank is the most useful thing at that time. Just connect your mobile with power bank through a data cable and let your mobile get charged.

Power bank contains a special battery, the special type of body case and a special circuit which controls the flow of electricity or power. The word power bank itself easily explains that what it is. Power means energy and everyone know what bank is. So in simple means a device in which you can deposit energy (store energy in it) and withdraw it (charging your phone) whenever you need it.

The power bank is not only for mobile phones. It can charge anything which is charged by USB cable. Like cameras, Go Pros, tablets, portable speakers, etc. All you need to do is just keep your power bank charged.

There are two types of power banks. Electricity-Charged power banks and Solar-Charged power banks.

Electricity-Charged Power Banks: Power banks have an input socket for receiving power. Just connect it with a USB cable in its socket and connect the other part of cable in any charging switch socket or connect with your laptop or computer. If you connect it with your PC or laptop, it will take too long to get charged. Electricity socket is a better option to charge a power bank.

Solar-Charged Power Banks: These power banks have a solar panel on their body. Just put these power banks in sunlight it will get charged automatically. These power banks can also be charged just as electricity charged power banks. They also have a socket for receiving power.

Power banks take time in charging according to their capacity. For example a power bank with 1500mAh rated power capacity will take time in charging same as your smart phones charging time. For larger power banks charging time will be increased according to its capacity.

Power banks have a light indicator to show their battery power. Some have five lights to show the battery. The charging is according to the number of lights. Some have a small LED screen which shows the percentage of battery.

Some digital power banks have a special option of the automatically power cut to prevent over charging, and everyone knows that overcharging will destroy the battery.  The advantage of these power banks is if you forget to disconnect the charger while charging the power bank. It will automatically stop charging when a battery is full.

Some power banks don’t support high capacity chargers like 2A chargers. Because they cannot store energy with this much speed and if you try to charge those banks with high capacity chargers then it will result as the damage of power bank. So be careful about your charger when charging your power bank.

If you still don’t have one then go to market as soon as possible, buy one and enjoy its efficient work.
