The contracts regulate a „know-how“licensing agreement for 100 – 220 kV cables and a „trademark“licensing agreement. The „know-how agreement“allows KEI to use BRUGG technology in their own production and to market these products. The „trademark agreement“ enables KEI to use the brand BRUGG Cables on quotations and on its products in accordance with defined specifications.

With this contract, BRUGG Cables achieves further penetration into the Indian market. In addition it enables BRUGG Cables to offer cable systems incorporating licensed KEI cables and Brugg accessories in selected markets. For system business up to 220 kV KEI has committed itself to exclusively use Brugg Accessories. The licenses are granted in exchange for an annual fee.
